Abby and some of her childhood girlfriends enjoyed a weekend getaway in Arizona. Hopefully, this was the first of an annual tradition! It was a great few days full of all the wonderful things that come with spending time with good friends.

We got lucky and had beautiful weather for our weekend camping/clamming trip down on the Kenai. It was a wonderful mini-vacation out of Anchorage!

The day the Hirsts left, Abby's parents arrived for a week-long visit. In addition to helping stain a new children's table and reupholstering the chairs for Bryan's office waiting room, the four of us were also able to take a weekend trip to Fairbanks.

Bryan's dad, grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins were all able to visit us this summer. The week went by really fast but they were able to see quite a bit...and there's still plenty left for them to see on future trips!

We spent the last couple days of our time in the lower-48 in Austin for the wedding of Abby's childhood friend, Adrienne Fulton, to Garrod Huebner.
