Autumn is here so we took a weekend getaway to Wisconsin to see the fall colors and to visit a couple orchards. Of course since we were driving through the midwest, we also had to visit a couple roadside attractions as well :)

Heidi, Garrick, Audrey, Bryan and I (and the dogs) took a trip to Iowa to visit the Rohles the weekend before Halloween. The main event of the weekend was pumpkin carving...check out our masterpieces!

We've had a whole month of Christmas! After the Thanksgiving Day Christmas with Abby's parents we celebrated Christmas with the Hilkers, had our own quiet Christmas with just us and the dog and then we were lucky enough to get to spend Christmas Day with Abby's brother, sister-in-law and niece.

Abby's parents were able to visit for a couple days so we hosted Thanksgiving at our new place. We enjoyed the festivities of the State Street parade in downtown Chicago in the morning and then spent the remainder of the day cooking and eating :)
