Chako and Bryan huddled together for warmth as the evening wore on...that's how chilly it was!

Finally, around midnight we decided to call it an evening b/c we were too cold to sit out by the fire any longer. Unfortunately, because we were only a couple weeks from the summer solstice it was still quite light out and the birds were chirping away...a very odd situation in which to try to fall asleep.

The next morning we headed back down to Homer to hit one of Abby's favorite breakfast spots, the Sourdough Express.

We spent a relaxing morning poking around the spit and the cute shops and generally just enjoying the beautiful weather.

We also hit the Bear Creek Winery where we tasted some yummy wines and really good port.
|
Eventually we headed back to Stariski and found it blanketed by fog.

As the afternoon wore on, the fog burned off. Bryan relaxed in the sun...
