Behold the red velvet cake for Heidi's birthday...Jason was particularly excited!

Heidi requested red velvet cake, homemade ice cream and games for her birthday...so we played some Raymond Raving Rabbids TV Party.

First softball game of the season...actually, Abby's first softball game EVER

We had small gathering of friends over for an early birthday bash for Bryan.

Bryan affectionately referred to the event as 'Enghirst Ribfest 2009.' Unfortunately this is the only pic we got of the ribs...this platter doesn't even have half of the ribs on it. *

We also had homemade German chocolate cake and Monica's wonderful cherry pie as we warmed up by the firepit (which apparently was a bit smokey in this picture!)

Then we headed indoors for a little Guitar Hero. Bryan received GH Metallica as well as the drum set for his birthday so the guys rocked out.
